Attending a Foray Suitable footware and clothing will be needed to cope with slippery or wet conditions. A flat bottomed basket is best for collecting but any rigid container will do. Plastic bags are not very good because specimens tend to get squashed crushing fragile specimens and spoiling features which may be important in identification.
